Hheellpp!! Have to prime everytime x2 with pipe

so.
i got the 38mm carb
evidently it was from a 650sx and there is nowhere for me to connect the throttle cable. my old 28mm had the pull up and this one has the pull down.
also even if it worked the 2 bolts that hold the carb would not be long enough.
i just though this would be easy.
is there a carb where the throttle cable attach to or is there a part you have to have to attach to some other part of the ski to hold the cable.
really hoped that it would have worked out.
you guys may have been in the same situation and could chime in,

bought the oem parts for a 91 x2 new throttle holder and cable also needed the updated air filter assembly.
i may take photos so i can add the the site this is kinda good info. that one needs to know

got it all done today and on 1st try it started and runs like a champ alot louder and meaty sounding to..

turns out the ski had the h2 ngk plugs. it needs the es extended size.
this is why it wasnt running and only stated after i primed it.
so they were not reaching all the way.
either way im glad i have the larger carb.
