Here we go! (*pic added*) DONE, besides grafx.

I finally reached a medium with the power in my ski, so i finally decided to re-do it cosmetically. For motor i have a pipe, head, carbon reeds, lightened flywheel, prop, and also have good handling mods such as; tubbies, UMI steering, 4* bars, ride plate, grate, shortened pole, lowered bracket, lowered hood and nose piece. So i talked to the touch up paint guy that comes and touches up lot cars at my work and we talked and i talked him into painting my ski. So i figured i would go with the blue on my yamaha r6!! We found the paint code (we thought) and got to painting it today! We got it done and it was not the same color.... But turned out BADASS!!! It a tri color with dark pearl blue, pearl clear, then 3 coats of regular clear. In the shade it looks just like a dark royal blue, but it the sun it slaps you in the face with a bright blue metallic!!!! I know this thread is worthlaess without pictures so i'll get some soon!! But i'm going with white turf with that, and some white graphics so i hope it turns out good!!! I'll get some pics here within the next few days! :brap::brap::brap:

Started putting putting the padding down tonight. I am making templates of every peice of turf i cut out that way next returf should be a breeze!!! Look for pic within the next few days!!

That's a good lookin white turf job, I bet you can't wait to get some of that Georgia red clay all over it! Carry stain stick and spray N wash to every ride!

HAHA! Yeah! I am going to scrub it tomorrow night with bleache white, let it sit with a fan in front of it, then the next mornng before i ride i am going to spray scoth gaurd all over the thing! Turfing the rails NOW! Man... 7:00 alarm for work is gonna come early!

i used white turf on my ski all last year, in Georgia, and had very little trouble with it getting stained. My pisser hitting the side rails was the biggest area of discoloration. I put a 30:70 mix of bleach and water in a spray bottle to clean it...worked well. Scotch guard is a good idea though.

Thats good to know. I have a pisser where it doesn't hit my side rails. I'll scotch gaurd it, and also keep the bleach bottle handy! Thanks for the tip!
