here is my 07 sxr

had some free time so I thought I would give some info on my ski

07 sxr I bought from sc in dec of 07 (it was 5 months old)
brought it back to ohio & we had a 65 degree day so took it for my first ride, that was efn cold. took it to daytona to ride it the second time & had a blast. I cracked the pole on sat & so began my obsesion with improving an already kick a$$ ski.

I started with;
Dales jet sports handle pole.
0 deg bars
odi clamp on grips
tbm hood hooks
pulled intake boots

first 2 pics are the ski on its ride home from the south
other 2 are more recent but shows off the pole

I had to pick up some supplies on the way back into Ohio. we cant get ying here

so after daytona I realized I needed footholds so out came the saw. So I called john @ jet ski haven & ordered lustic footholds blowsion rail caps & a bilge set-up.
I also had him send me an aluminium bed plate while I was at it. -2.5 pounds

more pics of foot holds going in

I after I ordered the blowsion rail caps I found the jet trim ones & liked them better so I ordered the trim caps & they were very nice. They fit with min trimming & had a nice finish.

the turf & holds were done so out came the motor.

replaced the bed plate with the aluminium jet ski haven plate.
cut out some glue. wow is there a lot of that in there & I am not done yet. I will finish this winter as I got tired of cutting glue.
installed a light billet coupler -100 grams from stock
reinstalled the engine in the ski & went riding

had some problems with my loose hood so I made a hood stap & got rid of the hood latch all together

You bas-tard. How dare you post a picture of all that Yuengling to tease me!

I was just talking about how much I wanted one yesterday. :Banane35::Banane35:

so, I finally installed the TBM pump suffer with freestyle cone, that should be fun in daytona. I also cut the ride plate off flush (no D cut Yet) to see what that does with how it rides.

I think I'm going run the stock intake grate for daytona

I'm putting on a handle pole limit strap also. If I have time I will cut the front hood baffle out & plug the front inlet.

I'm going to try the stocker to start. I ran last half of the summer with the worx & it seemed to really grip. I think with the pump stuffer, cut ride plate & stocker it should get back some slide.

I'll have them both so I might swap them out just to see the differance on the spot.

any pics out there of pole limit straps installed?

I picked up a stainless u-bolt & carabiner for below the latch & just tied 3/8 line around the bar plate. dont know if that will work but for a qwickie install it should work. got to find a bungee stap in my piles to keep light tension on it.

so,,,, I thought I would add, the TBM pump stuffer added a noticable bottom end hit.
Also after a month or so of waiting, apparently they had made some design changes to it, my new TBM charging fly wheel came in. hope to install it this weekend. I also got some new grips for it to help keep my hands from slipping into the controls. Now its time for a diet. :burnout:
