FX-1 HELP! With powder coating my Factory Pipe!

I decided to get my factory pipe exhaust and waterbox, and my girdled head powder coated, just to look better with my new build...

My powder coater said it has some epoxy or something keeping him from being able to sand blast it, in order to Powdercoat it... any suggestions? tips? help?

sure, sand blast it. Lol it takes a while to cut the very good coating off. its probably powdercoat or jet coat or similar. I glass beaded mine off, took a while

Get a very good paint stripper to help peal that coating before sandblasting. Aircraft stripper is ok.

My buddy bead blaster my head pipe for me. He couldn't get the coating off.

Took the coating off no problem.

Took the coating right off the chamber too. Going to polish it for now, but it's chewed up some, best I can afford.

EDIT: I cut a plastic epoxy resin squeege I had in half to scrape it off. Don't use a metal scraper on the chamber for sure, will scratch it all up.

Okay ill tell him to keepy trying to blast it, if all fails ill over that klean stripper stuff from home depot

I took back my parts, took a chance and bought this product from Rust-O-ileum, called "aircraft remover". This stuff worked like magic! the jetCoat came off after painted it on, and letting it soak for 10 minutes! It wiped right off!!! If anyone is ever in the same situation, i highly recommend it! :beerchug:
