Help!! Pump Removal(2004 SJ)

Replacing my pump shoe. Removed intake grate, removed ride plate, removed 4 bolts mounting pump to hull disconnected cooling lines and steering. Tried yanking straight back, tried pulling down away from hull. This thing ain't moving. What did i miss? This pump does come off in one piece right, or do I have to remove the other long bolts and split it in half like I was gonna install an impeller?

Edit: Never mind. I just ate my wheaties and tried again.

Looks like I better hit the gym in the off season....

Pull down and out, it will come eventually. They can be a right pain in the arse......

The rear ring has an alignment pin so you have to pull down and out. I guess you got it.

And my pump shoe came off in one piece in about 5 minutes...far better than i had expected.
