Super Jet Help! Power problem

I have been battling an ongoing power problem with getting no throttle response and power from my motor. I have been getting a sluggish, gurgle. I thought at first I broke a baffle in my waterbox, then I swapped out my msd enhancer for a stock cdi, then rebuilt my carbs and new plugs. I'm getting 190psi in both cylinders so I know pistons and O-rings on my head are still making a good seal. Looking for any and all help of what my problem could be.

The stator screws were tight, still same problem. I did change the stator as well and still same thing.

Carbs are synced, but still have a turd on the water. I'm thinking possible voltage regulator, stater solenoid or base gasket leak. Does any of these 3 sounds like a possible culprit to anyone?

Not bad, it looks like a clean burn is happening but they still are really new looking because every time I get on the tray and test it I turn right around with pure sadness in my heart!

I made the decision to winterize my skis so I'm now at the mercy of next season. I hope so too, this has been a roller coaster of I thought I nailed it and couldn't wait to get on the water and still not solved. Might be looking for a power valve motor or a Mighty Mouse build and part this one out!

I will probably change all fuel lines. Filter is good. No select on the tank, I have a kart tank and I put a blowsion one way valve and hose barb on the gas cap. I wonder if the seal in the cap might be bad...

Starter solenoid is not going to effect how your ski is running. Base gasket leaking will give you runaway throttle or will flat make the ski run like it is on 1 piston.

Fuel,Air and Fire.......... If you do not have those your ski is not going to run. You got to have all 3 for ski to run right. Have you checked plug wires? Broken wires will cause the ski to run bad. Have you tried to run with the hood off or raised up? Exhaust leak will make the ski choke out. Did you clean out all the fuel circuits when you rebuilt the carbs? Did you replace the internal filter? Have never ran across a voltage regulator that was bad.............

I did run it with hood off and still same problem, I made sure everything was cleaned out and replaced when I rebuild the carbs. I only replaced the boots and not the wires, might be looking at new wires then as well.

pull the boots, grab the wires with needle nose pliers and give a tug, if wires pull out, cut back until they dont pull out.

Awesome, thanks for the insight! I will make sure to do that.
