650/X-2 Help me identify this broken part!

anyone know what this is/where it comes from? It's from an 89 650sx. I took my hood off and went to put the pin in, and one half was laying right in the sill of the hood seal and the other was stuck under where the hood clip sits under the metal bracket. Looks like it tore and now it's in 2 pieces.

looks like a sway bar to frame bushing for the rear of a 1996 toyota camry lol

Sorry I forgot to mention scale of size. The whole is like the of the tip of a finger. It's small.

its the rubber grommet that keeps the gas tank vent hose in place up the handlepole

@TheBuzzard ahh, that makes sense.. not sure how it cracked, but makes sense it fell, Bc my vent doesn't go up the handlebar. The PO made the tank vent loop up to right under where the the front of the hood latches to the hull.
Is that bad? Or should I get it back up to the handlepole? I haven't had any issues yet
