help justify my thinking

so I am working on picking up a sj, idealy it would be a 701 square with all the goodies already, so options:

Option 1- Square nose that would be around 2000 with a bunch of stuff already done, 701, b-pipe, prop, girdled head, carbs, grate, plate, no trailer...... 2000 would be a tight squeeze money wise for me and then paying for gas and everything on top of that

Option 2- Square with 650, pipe, not sure what else is done to it, probably just some basics, good shape, with a trailer for around 1000, so as of right now I can afford this with money left over for travel gas and everything like that.

So I thinking, that i should just go for the 650 and use it for the summer, get some hours under my belt, then either next winter do all the work to it like 701 or 760 and dump a bunch into it, or pick up an already built round nose and then hand the square down to my little brother to ride.

I have only ridden a square 650 and a 650sx, I didnt mind the 650 square at all, its seemed to have enough power for me not to get bored with too soon,

I am thinking about going for the 650 because it would be easier money wise for me to afford and keep running, the 701 square is running off of AV gas so that would get pretty expensive.

any opinions or help would be greatly appreciated, I think im going to look at the 650 tonight and see where that goes,
