HELP! I cant figure out my ignition problem...where do I go next!?!?!?

So a couple days ago my ski just died. I wiggled the start stop switch around and it would refire for 15 seconds or so then die. I did this all the way home. Then when i started working on it, while cranking, it would spark for a second and then nothing. As soon as you would hit the start button it would spark and then nothing.

I unplugged the start/stop switch and nothing still.

R&R cdi and coil with no luck

tested stator resistance and VAC out and all within spec.

WHATS NEXT????

What ski?

When you say 'it would spark for a second and then nothing', what does that mean? The engine would still be cranking but the ignition coil pack wouldn't be firing??

U said you tested the stator. Was that with it installed? Have you tested the stator for a heat related problem?

Have you ruled out your Start/Stop swith? Unplug the Black connector (Black and White wires) and try cranking. If it fires up plug them back together and remove your lanyard to kill your motor.

I like to turn the idle screw all the way out to just let the engine die by letting go of the throttle. (make sure you have enough cable slack for the throttle plates to close all the way shut)
