Going to look at buying an FX1 this week and wondering what I should look out for. Any common problem areas? Or something I NEED to check for? Etc...

the common stuff. compression and spark. look for cracks in the hull. impeller condition.

Nothing really unique to look for with the FX. Like stated above, just check the sort of things you'd check with any ski.

havent really got any pics yet...just the one i sent the wife letting her know it fits in the back of her Honda Pilot. Suprisingly she wasn't as happy as i expected!?! :doh:

Lookin at the second pic, Is that foam? in the square cut hole? Or just a non turfed foothold? Congrats on the ski man!! Awesome that it fits! We had to stuff my uncles SJ in the back of his tahoe when we picked it up..lol had to bungee the trunk lid down lol

Nice! It can be a bit of a learning curve, (unrideable pfffft) but it is so much fun and easy to throw around. Mine has been the most reliable and the most fun thing I have ever owned and abused in the ocean since it was new off the showroom floor.
Only thing I could possibly ask for now is one of the new Tom21 hulls he's building. That may be the last ski I'll ever buy.

Yeah Keene seemed awesome, i offered to let him ride his FX1 whenever he wants in the future so hopefully he comes and takes it out from time to time.
