Mine turned soft a long time ago, within a couple of months of installing it, then it would harden sometimes, and resoften, etc etc, and more recently had stayed hard, then last week when I was reinstalling the gas tank, the entire end snapped off on the inlet side. After it softened up, it actually had bent to conform to the bends the fuel lines had.

That's why I'm going back to an aluminum one.

If it was more than four hours, you should see your doctor:)

Seriously though, I haven't seen that, but I will keep an eye out.

Thx.

That's weird, I have one on both my skis and they stay hard all the time. Of course I add a couple blue pills to each tank.

But seriously, I still have no clue what your talking about, usually material consistency stays consistent.
