I used to have one on my 550, and am trying to find one again. I know they are kind of generic and carried by J.C.Whitney, but only in 5/16".

What are some good MX online websites?

Ok, $9.95 shipping/handling from Summit, eh, no thanks.

I bought a $4 filter today from Pep Boys, that will get me by for now.

go to a speed shop and have them order it for you.... you shouldn't pay that shipping because they get it from suppliers.

Looks like a Mr Gasket filter. I found a lot of places online with them, but shipping is ridiculous these days... even for a 3 ounce item.

I got the inline from JSS for like 3 bucks after my OEM broke and let all the crap through. See through really helps.

Purolator F20004 from most any auto parts house $3-4 looks nearly identical to the stock inside / out and fits in the bracket. Not much on the bling factor but are you gonna ride it or look at it?

I believe eschberg is correct, it's a Mr Gasket product . . . .I found one like that at PepBoys Automotive locally a while back, there's a PepBoys in Louisville, KY according to their web site . . . . . .

That's pretty close to what I got for now. My jetskisolutions filter broke, so something is better than nothing.

paper filters = bad
non-water separating filters = bad
opaque filters = bad

am i being too negative?

:haha:

Got a suggestion?

I actually like smaller ones that let any water accumulated go on through. Since I rarely do wot runs, and my pickup is at the bottom of the tank, water is eliminated through the engine on a continual basis with little affect to the engine.

Just curious as to what "broke" means? I buy a handful of these from JSS at a time. Their small/simple. I've never seen one break. Is there a weak point with these?
