650/X-2 Have a question on turfing the rails ?

when i pieced it together the seam was always cut at 90* and butted up as tight at i could get them. i only 45* the edges on the rails. otherwise the seams will never be able to sit flush and make a big gap and most likely peel up easily

Sounds good. What do people mean when they put 2 coats of contact cement on the turf

I put one coat on the ski and one coat on the turf.

Until the paint is gone! Otherwise the turf will just end up peeling the paint off. I usually make my seam as far toward the front of the ski as possible. That way the water isn't constantly blasting at the seam.

Got the back part done. First time, not Gona lie it was hard but it turned out great
