An important message from our Princess, Shelly...since she can't post here for some odd reason....
For everyone who is coming to Harbor Beach, MI for the Can Am Cup and National Tour Round July 14 - 15th....Here's the deal!
Friday evening there will be a "Come one, Come all" BBQ Bash hosted by Region 6's very own Indy Al Miller! (If your from Region 6 you know what the crawfish gig use to be all about! Those of you not from Region 6, it's an event that shouldn't be missed!) Its a chance for everyone to get together before all the racing starts, relax, meet people, chat, and just have a good time.
Because crawfish are out of season, Indy Al will be BBQ'in' up some ribs, corn and other amazing eats. Here's where you come in...Everyone is asked to participate and make sure that there is enough food to go around! There are a ton of stores around and on your way into town so there should be no excuses why your there and didn't contribute in some way.
Everyone who's last name is within A - J : Your on APPETIZERS
Everyone who's last name is within K - R: Your on SIDES
Everyone who's last name is within S - Z: Your on DESSERTS
Bring whatever your drinking (and possibly a 6 or 12 to throw in a common cooler, or a bottle to give our gracious host!) a lawn chair, quad or whatever it is you plan on sitting your butt on and come on by, for some good food and fun! If you don't know who Indy Al is you will (he's an amazing cook!) and if still in doubt, where ever I am is where the party will be!
During, after, or both there will be some other face-off's going on in the pits...Rob Greenwald is organizing a Canada vs. US hockey game. Everyone is invited to play, we do however ask if you have an extra stick to please bring one as there will be a ton of people coming straight from Rochester to Harbor Beach who did not have a chance to bring their gear but want to participate.
So there's the low down from the Wicked Princess your Social Director for the weekend. Good times ahead can't wait to chat with everyone, I don't always get that opportunity when you only see me being my "Wicked" self out there on the tower!
