I like the new pinky but would cahnge the color of the pole to yellow or pink to match the black does not flow well now that the yellow is in there...

Thanks dude. The pole wasn't painted just because I didn't know if I was going to be keeping it on or putting on a different pole. The length kind of scared me but after riding it I plan on keeping this pole. Think I'm going to go with pink just because I don't have any yellow left.

Cracker, that is the exact response I expect out of people. I'm not doing this to be a cool kid, quite the opposite. I want people to scratch their heads and ask themselves "what is wrong with that person?". Thanks for the compliments.

Is the yellow paint or decals?

It would of been the real easter ride if I knew how to pinstripe. The yellow is paint. You'll see shortly how I did it. I'm hoping this ski will stay together for a little longer than pinky I. At least I'm starting off with one hell of a better ski.

This one rocks for sure....look you even have a place to put turf along the rails!!!

It's going to be a little different, I've already realized how much easier it is to carry a ski with rails all the way around it.

I like "spider-girl" better than "the pink dildo".

LOL, I don't even know what to say but thanks for giving her a name. Personally I called my last ski "Ken" as in "Barbie's" man but I like "spider-girl" better.

The rails will definitely help but the fact that this hull isn't scalloped in the rear should really help everyone out that takes this one out for a test ride. Also thanks for the compliment.

Assembly

So following the backwards build-up, assembly went pretty well with the ski. The only issue I had was that the pole area was built for a little school girl. I already reinforced it once but after mounting the pole on for the first time and watching the entire nose of the ski flex I decided that it had to get flipped over and foamed/reinforced. Along with doing that we made a nice thick aluminum backing plate to stiffen every thing up.

Next in line was the turf job. I'd like to say I helped but to be honest the only thing I did was say that it looks amazing. I don't have the patience for turf, or really just about anything that takes too much time (why pinky I won the ugliest ski award at Wavedaze). Moto360 is mainly responsible for the killer turf job and also skibums4life helped out when he could. Just a couple pics of when the turf was going on.

Thanks for the compliments. Well now I need to learn how to keep it running. Hopefully this one will be able to take the abuse and not fall apart underneath my feet. I better be seeing you this summer, CAN-AM ride? You know your and I need as much help as possible, clearly evident in Daytona LOL.

Painting

So obviously I wanted to keep the whole pink theme going but I had no clue what kind of paint scheme I wanted. Two of my brothers are very good artists and I had them come up with some designs but the one I like would of taken me a lifetime to tape off and paint it the way it was drawn. So finally the "spider-girl" theme was created by my roommate and I actually fell for it. I'll let the pictures do most of the talking but all in all I am pretty happy with what I got in the end.

The top deck was painted second.
