handlepole length

im about to order a x-metal handlepole. im 6'4" i ride surf and chase boat wakes. what lenght would be better suited for me? -2" or -4"???

i"m 6' running a total of about -4 and i am going to go shorter over the winter.

-3" pole
0 degree bars
lowered bracket - more forward than stock

im also buying x metals shortened turn plate. isnt that abou an additonal -2"

yes......

if this is for your SXR, you need to call and talk to Pat. Because what may be a -4 for a SJ may be only -2 or say -8 on an SXR.......... The -2 refers to the pole being 2 inches shorter than an OEM SJ Pole.

i talked to him today and he didnt say anything of that nature. he recomended that i go with the -4"

IF you have ape arms like some other tall guys I think you should go

-4" pole
Lowered Bracket
- 2.5" steering

If you want it shorter you can always sell that XMetal -4 pole no problem.

I agree with BK though, not sure if SJ to SXR translates well enough to make a decison without mocking the pole up.

I'm 6-3 and run a -6.5" and could use another 2 cut off!!!!

You're on a SJ, not an SXR.

well i ordered a -4" pole with there steering kit the is another -2.5" so will see how it is.

I have an SXR with a RRP pole and have it -5", i like this pole, easy to adjust the length

i really like that pole as well but right now i cant aford it so i went with the x metal. will see how i like the x
