Super Jet handle pole

Well I broke my handle pole today. Is there any chance of fixing this by fiberglassing it back together? If so would it be strong like new? Thanks

Im in the same boat, Ill be doing the fiberglass work in the next couple days and let you know how it turns out

Well I had a mediocre attempt at using fiberglass. I put 4 layers on the top and 2 layers on the underside of the pole. I hope it holds haha. Just waiting to sand now

Yes it was Bondo's polyester resin and mat. Do you think I used enough? I've never used fiberglass before so I'm in the dark haha

imo that repair isnt going to last long. its really difficult to repair the sn pole even with the right materials. best thing is to switch to arn pole or aluminum sn pole

I don't ride it too hard. Just subbing, turn subs and jumping off wake

subs and stabs are the hardest on those poles.
to repair it correctly you need to use epoxy resin and anything other then chop mat. i like e glass or s glass. carbon if i find a deal all three are easy to work with and make bends

As long as it'll last until winter then I'm happy. The previous repair the last owner made was two thin pieces of sheet metal on the sides haha
