handle pole length

Now i really like the x metal pole and will be changing to one at some point but i cant help wondering what if i get the wrong size?
I really like the rrp poles but they are tonnes more expensive and bulkier but with these you get to change the length.
How does everyone choose the length of their pole(with a low bracket) or do you do it by riding other peoples skis because i cant do that as i dont ski with alot of people
Surely a backflip is easier with a short pole but does that make a barrel roll harder? i hear it does
Any help appreciated

I am sure that what ever you get you will get used to. If you think you want a shorter pole then you can sell yours and buy a shorter one later. But with that said you can also adjust your length with steering setups. A stock setup would be the longest and a modified stock turnplate with straight bars can be -4 so that is the shortest. So there are no ends to the possibilitys. I am running a -4 inch pole and a -3 inch steering setup so I can go another -1 inch or +3 inches with just the steering to see what I want.

But I went with the majority when deciding what length to go with.

And they say that a short pole helps with rotation of rolls. It speeds rotation up. I haven't hears anything about BF's yet.

go with a -4" for sure..... and -2.5" Steering system...

I run a -3.5" stock pole, and I think IM gona try -5.5" so with the -2.5" steering I will be a -8" just trying to get the nose of my ski down after landing tricks on the tail.

My footholds are further forward then most, I dont have rear exhaust to be in the way....
