Handle Bar or Panel Mounted Bilge Switch?

Hey guys...I'm about to purchase a bilge pump kit from Riva yamaha for my STOCK 07' SXR.

It's between the Deluxe and Standard kit, which only differ by the types of switches: handlebar or panel.

I was wondering if the panel mounted rotary switch worked fine? Should I go with the handlebar mounted switch? Is the handle bar switch hard to intstall?

I don't care which one is easiest to operate or more convenient I was just wondering if the panel mounted one was fine.

I hate the switches that mount on handle bars.
They always find my knee and hurt like a biotch.

The rotary switch works just fine, do a search here. A board member sells toggle switches that hold up great in salt.

I run a rulemate 750 automatic strapped in where the "tool kit" goes. Works awesome, use stock straps. No need for a switch at all. I was sceptical of this setup at first, but it really works... all the time. I think DJKorn runs this setup as well.
