I dont even think the dealership here knows what a superjet is...

We all know the problem, it's impossible for people to comprehend what we're doing when we tell people 'I ride a jetski'. Always get responses like "Oh, really, what year seadoo do you have?" or "how fast does it go?" Average Joe does not even know standups are still being made!

I find it a little different. When I tell people I have "Jet Ski's" (I have three Kawis) they always associate with a standup. One guy at work said to me, I thought you had a "Waverunner" referring to my couch. I have to tell them that Jet Ski and Waverunner are brand names.

I always correct my buddy who calls his Sea Doo a Waverunner. I tell him not to insult Yamaha...
