G'zOne Waterproof Phone

Just curious how many people here have a G'zOne?

I've had the Type-S for 3.5 years now and it hasn't skipped a beat. I typically carabiner it to the inside of my ski when i ride just to give an example of its ruggedness over the years. I just upgraded to the new G'zOne Rock hoping it will last just as long. The only down side it smaller so it does not have a place i can clip a carabiner to. That was a huge plus when being active MTBikeing/Running/SnowSkiing/JetSkiing... exc

I have the old Gzone (the original). Ive had it for at least three years and i love it. but it quit charging recently and I need to upgrade asap. but i have rode with it in my pocket all the time.

I had one and I loved it. Sick phone for what it is. I also have had a crap load of G shock watches over the years. Casio makes great stuff. Unfortunetly most people this day and age won't appreicate the G'z one cuz they need their Iphones and Blackberries to keep up with their facebooks and tweets...haha

haha, yeah. If Casio made a 3(/4)G smart phone the same as there Gzone line and it stayed on the Verizon network it would be the superphone to end all superphones.

I have a laptop that a iphone cant touch, it takes care of all my multimedia. I dont need porn in my pockets, lol jk/jk

My girlfriend has one and she likes it. It's slow, that's about the only thing I've heard bad about it from her.

Works great and can't hurt it. Saltwater, freshwater, dropping it down the stairs and still kicking.

I had one for a day, it fell out of my sweathshirt pocket and hit the kitchen floor and broke the PLASTIC lock for the battery.

Seems like a good idea if it was a GSM phone to swap to for certain activities. but outside the waterproof feature it could be considered useless to most or to today's standards..

That would be awesome!

I got the new one "gzone Rock" and it has a 1ghz processor, 3G, and does everything except app's. but i agree its still not a smartphone.

not to stray from the G'z one but before that I had a yellow nextel with the rubber on it. I on accident ran that som' bitch over with my toyota that had 36s on it. It was fine needless to say LOL. The G'z one is deff cooler hands down. A 2.0 mega pixel camera for such a rugged phone is pretty sweet too.
