Grounding points

I know on my 750, everything was grounded to the starter. Since the SJ doesn't have that strap specifically for the ground, is there a better place to ground a SJ? I know 'technically' it shouldn't matter but quite often it does.

Motor mount, cylinder to case bolt, head bolt?

? Negative battery cable goes to the bolt holding the starter on. Is that what you mean?

Some people just run it to the flywheel cover and use one the of flywheel cover bolts to hold the ground wire down. I did....no problems
