Ground

I am looking in my yami service manual and it contrdicts itself
in one picture it says the wire coming formthe top of the e box is the starter negative lead and in another it says it is the positive, it is red so it's got to be positive, but now i forget when i took things apart what was on the stater

the positive should bolt to the stud onthe starter correct?

if yes where does the ground go?

to see what i am talking about see page 5-18 inthe manual, it is all messed up, #3 they are calling the starter negative and it should be the temp switch i think

A red wire going to the side of starter is positive.
On my engine, I got the negative of the starter (and the engine ground) bolted to the back of the starter.

The negative bolts to one of the bolts that holds the starter on and the positive is on the side of the starter
