- Oceano Dunes Beach Race and Festival: This exciting activity is a benefit for spinal chord injury research. Sponsored by Central Coast Motorcycle Association (CCMA) and administered by the World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS). - Freestyle Surf Slam: Watch this champion jet-ski exhibition and competition sponsored by Kenney-Champion Ventures. Exhibitions will be predominantly in the area of Grand Avenue, but will also travel to the south to provide entertainment for all beach goers. (this means you guys have a responsability to put on a great exhibition and show the general public just what an awesome sport we have) The professional invitation-only competition is set for Sunday morning, October 22, 2006. - Beginner ATV Safety Courses: Throughout the weekend, California State Parks will be offering ATV safety courses on the beach just south of Grand Avenue. This event is free of charge and everyone 12 years of age and older can participate. Riders under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or authorized adult.
- Angello’s ATV Rental: In Oceano will be sponsoring a Beginner Rider’s Course throughout the weekend at a venue near the ATV Safety Course south of Grand Avenue onthe beach. This event is free of charge. Riders under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or authorized adult.
