GP1200 motor mounts work in SJ?

I read in some thread here that GP1200 motor mounts work as direct replacement for the Superjet mounts.
Any particular year GP1200?
Is it the standard GP1200 or the GP1200R?

I am about to find out, sorta .. I bought OEM 6M6-44517-A1-5B. Which I think are the ones being used by a lot of FL riders. They are not a perfect match but you can either mill the bottom 1-2mm or shift the mounts outward, effectively lowering the height.

the 1200/800 mounts are a bit taller... but I run them in my sj .. just moved em out a hare. like atomic said

good price, I wonder if they are WSM ? couch mounts appear to have more surface area for the rubber to be vulcanized on. Berky said he can not break em doing backies...

I ran these same two couch mounts near the bulkhead and two SJ mounts up front with keepers w/o probs...(keepers have to be modded to fit around couch mounts).

I have been running couch mounts for a while now, they held up just fine to the portly 66E.

Yes, those are WSM mounts... I was using the chart for reference only.

(I learned the hard way when ordering from AJS to verify if the part is OEM or WSM.)

i have been running couch mounts in my last 3 skis and have yet to break one....used to replace OEM's once every year/half


raider, venture, GP800..whatever i'd guess gp12 mounts are the same

I'm running mounts out of a 99GP 800 in my Matrix. They are slightly taller so you have to slot the mounting feet so they set wider and lower but you can fine tune the mounts so no shims are required.

I don't land upside down much either....yet. :biggrin:
