Other Gp1200 engine carnage opinions wanted

Been fine for years. Sounded like crap then died. Zero compression on one cylinder. Piston looks like crap and dry but dome is wet. Carb not delivering fuel? What cha think? Name the cause.

C-clip come loose from wrist pin or did it eat a ring piece? Why is inside edge of sleeve rough looking? Any shards down in case trough?
