Got a call about my engine today...

I have my engine at Keith Head's place, he rebuilt it for me, he finally found time to get it on the water and start tuning it and found out my stator and coil are bad and my starter is going bad.

My question to all of you, do you have anything tat can help me out, or should I just buy all new?

Buy used. Use the starter till it craps out, but save for a new one. A used might be ok, but I think it's too much of a gamble. If you know the condition of the used one, it's a friends who takes care of their stuff, the buy it.

I dont buy electrical components used. You never know if you get a bad one. Send your stator to JSS and he will fix it up better than new. New starters are around $200.
