As SuperJett mentioned in the other post, the only way you get up to the top (excluding paid placement) is by having a lot of click throughs. Its kind of a lose-lose because the only way you can get up there is to get a lot of people searching and finding your site.

When you say PWCToday comes up, only if you type "pwctoday." Type words like Jet Ski, Waverunner, personal watercraft, etc and you'll get some industry sites (watercraft.com, jetski.com or the brand sites).

Of course you could always buy ad placement but its really a waste unless you are selling something and can apply at direct return on each click.

However, I still believe that most people interested in PWC will turn their heads at standups regardless of what web sites, pictures, videos they see until they've gotten bored of their couches. There is something about the lure of those big huge powerful machines vs. those "one person smaller ones."

Its actually pretty easy to try and manipulate the results in your favor (though Google is changing their algorithms all the time).

What everybody should be doing as much as possible is linking to x-h20.com from their site and using keywords in their links for example (each link in the example goes to x-h20.com or a specific forum inside):

{beginning of example}

I went to this really cool jetski and pwc site today called x-h20.com. They have a lot of the big names in the industry and you can pick up all kinds of freestye and freeride tips in their forum. Another great place to check out is their marketplace section where you can buy and sell just about anything.

Go take a look at x-h20.com now!

{end of example}

You want to have something like the above but at the same time don't overdo it because Google frowns on it (the above may be that). So everybody with a site . . . get cracking!

Remember, make the links to this site on each word or phrase that you would type into Google and expect to get x-h20.com as your answer.
