Good setup?

Im about 99% sure im gonna buy this ski from Kurtwolff and i was just curious as to how this setup would work. im mostly intersted in learning to freestyle and just have fun but id like to be able to out run my sea do which hits around 48 max :(

anything cheap i should add when i get the ski or should i just ride it how it is?
 
Save the $$$$ for gas during summer, then you can do footholds in the winter!

They're right though - it's not about top speed, this ski is fast enough for me and I've been riding SJ's for about 5 years now. It'll have plenty of top end to scare you if you go WOT, you'll see soon enough :)

The Protec pipe will give you great top end, and the midrange is good too - the B pipe is more tunable, but also is super hard to get these days at a fair price (ex. 500 minimum for a used one, that may be crusty w/ locked up screws).

I think you'll be happy w/ the setup, the 701 is a solid platform - also I just talked to my buddy who owned it prior to me (he dumped some cash into aftermarket for sure) - he said the carb is a Taper-bored Protec, so that gains some power across the board too!
