the 62T 61X setup is not a stock configuration. Early model superjets came with the 61x engine. Later models came with the 62T engine. Later model cases with early model cylinders.
so a 96 would definately have a 61x cylinder and case right? Do you know the exact years 61x engine production and 62t production?
How hard would it be to swtich it to a 62t case? still keeping the 61x cylinder of course. or would it be easier to get a newer superjet and switch to a 61x cylinder?
how much would they cost me?
I don't think you will be able to feel a difference between the x and t motors. The "setup" of the rest of the components can more than make up for the difference in cylinders. I have rode T motors with a TON of low end but I have rode them with more mid and top than bottom. I would just work non a good deal and not worry about the motor. Your going to mod it anyhow
I want to get a RN so I will be getting a 62t motor. how would that perform compared to your 61x? very close to same I'm sure.
how much did the build cost?
