That sucks Pete... good thing you found out though... I've blown eardrums several times... now I wear the helmet. I've battled ear infections in my right ear since I was a child. I learned to ignore the pain from it... and one time I thought I had an ear infection... kept f'n with it and not seeing the doc... turned out I had a polyp and I accidentally ripped it out with a Q-tip... that MOFO bled for a full day.

Anyway... you'll be good to go brah... :biggthumpup:



Who needs balance anyway... :1244: just drink more... J/K dude.

Its crazy how things work out, you gotta do what you gotta do though when shiz happens. Man its the craziest of all to think how you would have kept living day by day never knowing just like you had been for who knows long. Its definitly unsettling, I mean your just checking your ears, and theres all kinds of parts of the body that you could go to a "specialist" for and don't though, and he could tell you about surprises you may have down the road,it's so nuts.

Well get it taken care of, feel good, and be happy and you'll be chillin in no time.

And I'm definitly gonna be wearing a helmet and ear plugs now after reading this, because I definitly would have fking blown my ears out. Thanx for the wisdom.

Word.. I was at a Dr. that has 4 Doc's in one office... when He found it... He Brought in the other doctors and one Intern to comment what they saw and all opinions were writen down.. Good call ! Maybe I will still go to another Dr. ? They were all like check this out ! :bigeyes: I guess its a really odd place for whatever term they used. I know my head was growing But DAMN ! :haha: I will ask for pics when the cut them mothers out ! :1244:

After almost 3 months the pain finally went away and was able to swim/ski again. Im wearing aer plugs now and a helmet.

yea well atleast you found it before it really screwed you up.

let the drum heal then get the growths taken care of in the winter like you said.

bet your kicking your self in the ass for not wearing that helmet.

hope you get healed up.

if your doc said you can go riding how does that not affect the healing process.

Pete, I should have posted on this earlier, I didn't realize what it was until talking to you tonight

when we play this game, we take risks........... But this growth you have is nothing to play with. Please take care of it. I have lost almost all hearing in my right ear. I didn't know until recently how much of a burden it plays. Listen to the doctors & have the surgury.
as you can tell, everyone here cares for you. Take care of yourself!
