Going to Riot Ride? Please read...

I posted a couple places and don't really want to start too many more threads in fear of being a spammer but I have a bit of a "situation."

There is a Kawasaki 750, sitting in Miami, FL. I am in New Jersey. I would like to get it NJ.

If anybody in Florida is driving through the Miami (I could get the ski to Delray Beach as well) area and going to Riot Ride with an extra spot for a ski and may be willing to help, please let me know. The ski has its own trailer even, so we have options. I'll also be more than happy to work out some reimbursement.

If I get no bites on the above, then the next paragraph won't matter much buuuut.......

If you are in the NJ/PA/DE/MD/NY area and would be willing to take a 750 back from the Riot Ride to somewhere I could pick it up from, please let me know. Similarly, we can work out whatever reimbursement you would like.

So that's my situation. I have a nice ski that is all mine with the one caveat of getting it up here. If this all falls through and you have ever shipped a ski and know good vendors and what exactly that entails, please follow up as well. Not that I don't have faith, just being careful :wink:.

Plus, once I would eventually get the stand up I can start making fun of couch riders :wink:.

Problem is that my brother-in-law (its his ski) has the ski in Miami. He's in Delray and he doesn't even have a trailer hitch to move the thing.

Really getting it to Delray would only be able to happen this weekend because for him to borrow a car and try to move the ski (if its even possible) he would need to do it this weekend because he works insane hours. Plus the trailer probably needs some TLC.

Maybe I'll start a thread and see if anybody is going to Daytona....lol.

just get it on a pallet and pay the 200 bucks or som to have it shipped. prob the best route.

awesome! finally makin the jump. if nothing comes of it just tell him to get it to the lacal roadway on a crate and be done with it.

Doesn't seem like anything is going to and paying the money isn't a problem for me.

So what's the best way to ship, Roadway?

I have had a tranny shipped that way. the guy just strapped it to a crate. you take it to them and then go get it from them, no home delivery.
