Well, I got the suprise phone call of my life tonight from Rob "Hooter Boy" Greenwald.
He says to me, you will never guess where I am?!
Rob proceeded to tell me that he was in the ER at Piedmont Hospital here in Atlanta and would be there for 3 or so days.
This all stems from his injury in Havasu 2 weeks ago in which he was hit by David Pulley during his Pro/Am 1200 stock class race. His knee was the injury, but nothing was broken, just swelling and some discoloration.(if I am leaving anything out, hopefully he will chime in and correct me)
Upon returning to Atl he went to the doctor who sent him to an orthopedic specialist.
Turns out they did some tests and found out that his knee injury and resulted in a few blood clots that have traveled up his leg and into his lungs, which is nothing to joke about. If one of the clots had moved, it could move into his heart and he would be no longer with us.
Rob is on some major blood thinners and can not play contact sports for 4 to 6 months.
Get well soon Bro
