u guys know if I can buy generic gasket sheets and cut my own. i forgot to order the set between the flame arestor and the carb and don't want to wait on shipping from someone. i was thinking of trying one of the local autoparts stores.

I ruined those gaskets (the ones between my 44's and the factory flame arrestor), just used crankcase sealant....gave me no problems

however I am in no way implying that this is the right thing to do....

It is just the flame arrestor gasket....not very crucial, just dont go thinking im saying to rtv your cylinder to your crankcase or something stupid like that.

but if you want to make a gasket you can buy gasket material at any auto parts store

yeah...i figured those were fairly non-critical gaskets...i might try some sealant if i can't get to the autoprts store soon.
