Xj your ski is gonna be awesome. I saw big Derricks fresh out the mold and it looked awesome. I threw a deposit down on a gen 3 right away. I'm jealous your getting one first! What turf did you go with?

Ya I'm getting pretty excited for this thing! I went with black turf with orange footholds.
What colour is your gen3 going to be?

I went with black gel. Doing the white and silver graphics with the white n blck camo turf with black foot pods. Hoping to get it mid april. Yours is gonna look killer jack suttons orange one sits in the shop it really pops.

As for the hull/ moulds, those pictures were taken when they were just popped out of the moulds. We have to hose down the hulls to clean up the mould release. Not to mention these hulls are being assembled in a FIBERGLASS booth, where hulls are being trimmed, edges being sanded & ground down about 8-10 hours a day. It tends to get a bit dusty too, which is probably what you guys are seeing anyways.
And the bottom deck sides are symmetrical with each other, the photo was taken to the side. Besides, it wouldn't exactly matter if they were symmetrical or not, because the hull still performs how it should!
Lots of progress being done on this one, I should be able to do graphics sometime next week.

I stripped my SN hull today, it weighs 129lbs with polystyrene foam footholds, turf and no hood. I'll weigh my modified sn hood when I pick it up from a buddy's place

the finish is really sweet, I cant wait to see what the ski clinic will be in 1-2 or 3 years, it will be top of the line in quality for the budget price. After seeing a couple of hull of my eye they are going better and better. Two thumbs up for the BOB Army !!
