Gasket porting?

Hey guys i've got a sxipro and i'm putting a fpp on it but looking at the gaskets there's only 3 little holes for water to flow though and such big ports, has anyone ported out the water passages on the gaskets before? i'm planning on doing one 1/2" water inlet to the fpp mani. am i nutz or is this legit?:naughty:

Ya, no need to, it will get plenty of water through there.

Ook kinda what i wanted to hear. i was thinking you'd get a Ton more water though there and cool way better if the gaskets were ported.
