Blaster gas tank pressure

so its like this. have had this fuel problem for ever rebuilt the carb didnt fix this issue. filter will loss fuel after a short ride. {hours sometimes} So these valves that are connected to the water seperators, are they one way valves. could my tank be loosing pressure? The really strange thing. I have to blasters and the other one runs perfect and the valve on it acts the same. can blow both ways. so what to say about this. so should this check valve be 100 percent one way? will any fuel check valve work?please respond..

i here you there man. im gonna try to find two in the pathedic town i live in. crazy if this was the problem all along. makes since not having pressure in tank to keep the fuel going though.

Yeah these kind of issues are no fun I went through the same thing I rebuilt the carbs and did a lot of stuff for no reason and it ended up having nothing to do with the fuel my CDI went out

we are all talking about that valve that is inline with the water seperator after tank. if it is a actual one way valve then how can the water seoerator be used. i hope people are leading me in the wrong direction. welcome to my nightmare.

counted my chickens before they hatched. opened the hood today and lost its prime. no fuel in filter or fuel lines. now im dumoing mixed gas down carb to get it to start.

you should only be able to blow one way. And it should flow out of the tank

Maybe I'm not understanding you, but the one way valve has an arrow on it that should point towards the tank. Air should be allowed to flow into the tank, but not out.

I have two skis compared both one way valves. one was faulty for it would blow both ways. I replaced it from a similiar one from napa. its for vacuum and a little smaller but it will work for the rest of the riding season. I thought it was all fixed until i lost prime that night. I blew in the tank and it still had no pressure in tank.{ I blew in tank using return hose. Fuel bubbled but no air came back out of hose i was blowing in.} I took off fuel cap and put my hand over the fuel inlet and blew. alot more back pressure and when i removed my hand the tank hissed. no checked the fuel cap and it was missing the seal. went back to napa and bought a 1.07 oring for a temporary fix. now its cold and rainy. fuel tank pressure issue is fixed
