Cucumber were done , pulled them up and planted more Kentucky Blue wonder beans in their place, under the arch I planted Zipper peas , pretty much all of the tomato plants I planted are thriving , I have four rows of tomato plants at present , most are cherry tomatoes . Okra is producing very nicely , I didn't plant many because I had bags left over from last years crop, the eggplants have produced way more than I can eat .
The first tomatoes I planted were no longer making flowers or producing so I cut the tops off of them and rooted them in water , I now have five very large tomato plants to plant to replace the first ones, we still have at least another four months of growing season left here and that's just for Summer crops.
On the tomatoes I did nothing but cut them , remover the lower shoots and put them in a sunny window in a vase with water , free tomato plants as many as you could possibly ever want .
The tomatoes I planted from seed are producing the best looking and largest tomatoes I have ever had , they just keep getting bigger and bigger . I planted more cucumbers and I am about to plant another set where I pulled up tomato plants , these are a more heat resistant variety and more compact so they do not spread out as much.
The pepper plants are loving this heat and are producing like crazy now , especially the Jalapenos .
