Garage Sale Mtn Bike

got this at a garage sale the past weekend. pretty cheap. looked online, looks like a 09 gt outpost. nuthing crazy...gunna just back in to mtbiking wit it.

gunna disasembe and clean and see what need replacing, prob upgrade some components. the disc brakes are kinda shot, theryre gunna get replaced soon. any other suggestions?

I wouldn't spend much on upgrading, just toss some new pads in the brakes, clean the rotors with alcohol/etc and they'll probably work just fine, oil the chain, adjust the shifter cables, and ride it.

Prob the route on gunna go. The brakes are in pretty bad shape.

Nokfir...that looks just like my GT Aggressor I had a few years back. The Outpost is upgraded with disc brakes. I paid like $600 for my bike when it was new (2000). I'd say $150 is a good deal on it. Nice pickup.
