Galveston/Surfside Sunday

Just moved to Louisiana, so this its my first season. How are the waves over there? Does the surf get good around here during tropical storms?

Bumping this up - I know its early but looks like surfside could be fun this weekend. Thinking about heading down Sat. afternoon and ride Sat/Sun if it holds up. Anyone...

We are most likely gonna camp Saturday night and ride Sunday. Doubt by the time my buddy gets off work that we will have much daylight left on Saturday to ride. We will be at surfside just outside access #2. Shoot me a text/call if you want to join up 713 702 9960.

It was really windy, surf was big and nasty, drunk idiots all over the beach. Basically another typical wknd at Surfside - great times!! You need to get down here and come ride with us.

hey guys ... i was wondering how it works in galveston is ski riding in the surf condoned ? I will be in town this week end and was just wondering on any local laws or if there where areas where it was allowed ? may not have time to stay and ride but i will plan another trip if i can find some one to go with. I am coming down for a family wedding and will be in town for 3 days and was looking for some one to ride with. I am not going out alone just not good.

I'm planning on going Sunday morning for awhile. Just put your ski in the water and ride is what I do. Try to stay away from people and fisherman. I'll probably be at beach access #2 in Surfside

My ski is on the operating table all of a sudden. Stator and flywheel sent off to get fancied up. Hopefully they'll be back in time to make the most of any waves the storm in the gulf may bring...
