Due to an upcoming Certification Test, Jen has asked me to let her study. That means that I need to leave her alone.

What better time to hit the surf. Anyone want to go ride over this weekend? I was thinking just a day trip. Crystal or one of the pocket beaches. What ever is conveinent for you. Let me know.

Not really. I got home last night and pulled the electrics box, printed the service manual (Thanks Prem1x! ) and pulled out the trusty Fluke. Went to take my first reading and the 9v in the Fluke was dead. I have no other 9v in the house. So needless to say, I made no progress last night. I will try agian tonight. She isn't going to be able to ride this weekend anyway, so there isn't a big rush.

Well, I think that we might hit Egret. That's right WE!!!!
I figured out what was wrong with Jens ski, called her and in a matter of minutes she had it running.

Octanes will not produce spark if the battery is below a certain voltage. They will crank, but no spark will be produced. I had her put my battery in her ski and it started on the second time. Lesson learned. Too bad she only got to ride 20 minutes in Georgia.

Well, I am taking a buddy out to Egret, Sat. @ 10 am. Anyone want to show up?

If not, is anyone riding anywhere else? I am willing to change.

I have no definate plans yet, but and the wife want to do some riding this weekend. I haven't heard from anybody, Michael950, electricgeoff, the two guys from Katy/CincoRanchHS, Luke etc.

What up guys, I am down for Sat. morning at Egret, a few of us were planning to be there at about 10 as well.
As for Fri. night count me out I took a job at Ichibon bartending on weekend nights, so if you guys like saki & sushi come see me.

Looks like the wife and I are game for Sat. morning, Egret or Gene's??? I like the freshness of Gene's, but Egret is sooo close.........what to do? I guess I'm not going tonight since I can't find a partner, and doing what I do alone is not the best idea.
