FX-1 FX1 Renovation Project

I would like to share a build that i did with my friend (GDsuperjet) to his 94 FX1.
Gary and i have been riding together for a half a year now and he has always wanted to do some much needed upgrades to his fx1. After years of tearing it up on the flat waters of central Florida to the surfs of Volusia county, Gary notice some cracks in his handle pole as well as the mounting bracket and decided it was time to resolve the issue before it became a timely problem. Last Month Gary came to me wanting a custom handle pole to be fabricated as well as some other goodies to assist his transporting to the beach. hope you all enjoy the pics

And finally Gary thought it was time to widen the narrow tray as well as revamp the look of his ski with new Hydro Turf.
He did a great job and his FX1 looks as good as it performs!!!

im still stuck on how you made the sleeves for the tubes, did you weld a bunch of pieces and grind perfect or press?? so it is possible to get one? if the price is reasonable then mark me down for one

i did alot of machining and welding to make the main housings. send me a pm for more details

Tom and Mike ty for the excellent work you both have done to my fx-1! I love it so much my sj sleeps on the trailer. Gr8 work on the pump tom its still goin strong, same with the tubbies and ride plate you made! Mike you need to teach me to weld/fabricate bro ur is amazing!
