are the threads on an fx1 pump rh or lh?

I think he means the thread, whether you loosen it to the left or to the right, is the thread normal or reversed?

I'm having a new 144mm pump installed in mine while I'm gone.

If your referring to the impellor/shafte yes is is reverse

yeah rh (right hand, regular threads) or lh (left hand or reversed threads)

I kept heating and trying to loosen my impeller and it won't come off when turning it clockwise so maybe I'll have to use more heat and a bigger wrench.

Heat the $hit out of it!! Almost red hot, then one good smack on the wrench should breat it loose.

Pretty sure I'm out of luck on this one.

I put penetrating oil on the threads and leat it soak for about a week.
Then I heated the $--- out of the impeller, the stainless turned brown after it had cooled. I only managed to twist off my solas impeller tool with the wrench and ruined the tool. It doesn't seem like that impeller is coming apart.

Any ideas on this one?

I hate stuck parts.
