Super Jet fx1 mid shaft and housing same as sj?

can anyone tell me if the fx1 midshaft and housing will fit a roundnose sj? im asuming its shorter than sj but the housing is the same ? thanks

I'm just about to go pick up a used sj mid shaft but someone told me I can just knock the fx1 shaft out a bit in the housing to make it the correct length ? This can't be right can it ? Don't want to waste money
