after purchasing the great fx1 (then adding a few mods) and now reading too much xh20
I've decided to put my fx1 under the knife
i recently installed 09 sj shortened pole, cold fusion riser steering (what a freaken great product btw) ada head, b pipe LTD, msd enhancer, lightened flywheel and ATP water box and wow did she wake up from stock form
i only ride surf and little bit river when its a hot day after work
but now i will do what most of you guys are doing (interesting? i hope so):
140mm skat trak setback mag pump with 13-20 swirl
-was going to use oem 144 pump but got an offer for this i could not refuse thanks bigo
atp steering nozzle
-because they sickkk, well looking at them and give a lil extra throw but hacking at pump is needed
cut out tray/deck with custom lifters
-only because i like to fit more than one foot on the tray
61x/62t engine with twin 38 carbs
-bit more hp never hurt or did it? but 38's for down-low snapp
lowered coldfusion fx1 bracket
-my stock one is cracked big time plus billet looks cool but will it change riding style?
block off external fuel fill
-aesthetics
fill in front sides
-aesthetics
strengthen inside engine bay and nose
-maybe ill do some hard landing one day.....
tom 21 tubbies
-apparently tubbies are the go! and toms' look the part - exact fit they way they should be. i noticed after the power increase with first mods i felt it needed to be more stable when flying around in the waves. so hope this helps
and if i have any money left a paint job!
