fx1 d-cut

I couldn't find any pics of the fx1 plate cut, so I winged it.

I thought it would be good to stop just short of the first rib and so ended up not quite a half circle (just freehanded till it looked right)

That plate was already cracked and reinforced with aluminum plates + epoxy, which is the mess you can see in the last pic.

just a couple of times now. It really made an improvement in chop, no more unintended subs(!). It is not porpoising on me either.. The only downside is it really slides out on tight turns.

I "V" cut my Jet Dynamics plate. I like the way it handles. I have a Pro Tec one that is "D" cut but it doesn't clear the new pump. I need to grind it down and give it a try. Glad to hear it gets rid of the sub.
