I got it running the same day at the river. Thanks to an xh20 regular here (Justin thanks a million).

It ran great today. I learned how to do subs with it. I must be pressing my luck huh? Still no bildge.

Just an update. Stayed with the 13/17 prop in the 144 pump (original shoe), put the Factory B-Pipe, Carb Rebuild/Jet/Spring . . . everything else is stock. All I can way is WOW. What a difference. The pipe made a HUGE difference. So much of a difference, that it has enough power for my skill level that I am done with mods for a while. Very happy. As far as the bilge, I put in a new RULE 500 (mounted left/rear of engine, near one-way valve hole) and did go with a float switch (not ideal) but only looking for emergency. So far it has worked well when testing it, and I haven't had a need to have it work in an emergency. . . now that I am happy with the power on my FX1 I am working on a X2 for my daughter. . . all I can say is that 650 w/Westcoast pipe, head, waterbox, 38mm carb, 15.5 impeller, . . is a dog compared to the FX1.

Thanks again to everyones advice!

FX1 Pipe from wetracer. Amazing difference. Ended up massaging a RD Ride Plate (had to remove some of the inside webbing to tuck more tightly against the pump), and rolling with my existing JD Intake.

Im running a 10\16 hooker in my fx1 and it spins it up violently. Im running a true fx1 b-pipe, carbontech reeds, riva powerbomb 48, msd enhancer, ada girdlead head, lightened flywheel and it has tons of bottem end. I love it.

I have heard mixed reviews on the lightened flywheel. As far as the rev limiter . . . . I assume removing or reprogramming really necessary with a 144 pump. I would think that with the increased pump, and the desire for low end, upper RPM's would not be an issue. Might be an issue with my skill level on the ski, but I am much more into free style instead of attempting to pull the trigger down, and hang on for dear life for any extended period of time. The FX1 is a mighty short / narrow boat to be rocketing across the lake at full screw . . . at least for me. So .. that leaves Pump, Pipe and timing. I haven't done the timing yet . . . most likely will wait until next winter . . ski is running too well for me to mess with right now. . . lots of fun.
