ok well you wil be pleased to know we have been working hard on this and we are a few weeks away from an announcement. I do not expect this to be a big seller and i think its going to be a run of about 20 of them and then we will be done

Do you have a rough price in mind and Is this something we would be able to drop some money down to secure one? Don't want to miss this.

OK how about some updates.
Just wanted to give everyone an update on the 144mm pump project and open up some discussion, as this is very much a work-in-progress that we're building with your feedback in mind.

We’ve made a pump shoe that fits the OEM 122mm shoe bolt holes. By removing the lip, we were able to open up the area to fit the 144mm pump properly. From there, the plan is to make a liner that drops into a flange, similar to how Kawasaki sets up their pumps — meaning we won’t need to use the front locating bolts anymore.

One thing we ran into is that the top two mounting bolts on the 144 stator are in the way. So the plan is to delete those and, in the liner we’re making, relocate the mounts. We’ll also add an adapter onto the rear nozzle so the pump can still bolt together up top with four bolts for strength. That part is already worked out and looking good.

The part I’m still playing around with is how to handle the rear nozzle bolts. I could make an adapter and have it welded on — but that kind of defeats the idea of a bolt-in kit, and I want this to be as easy as possible for everyone. There will be a small amount of grinding needed on the OEM 144 stator, but nothing difficult.

I’ve got a few ideas in my head for the rear setup, but I’m also keen to hear what you guys think. Would you prefer a completely new nozzle if it pushed the price up a bit? Or would you rather modify existing parts and keep the kit more affordable?

The whole goal here is to reuse as much existing hardware as we can, keep costs down, and make this something that’s accessible for everyone — not just a few big-budget builds.

Appreciate everyone who's been following along and throwing ideas out there — feel free to let me know your thoughts! We're shaping this as a community project.

A new nozzle would probably increase the cost significantly. Nozzles get broken sometimes too so I'm not sure that's the way. Maybe some bolt on brackets that mount to the pump flange? Could probably have them cut from stainless and bent 90 pretty cheap.IMG_20250427_130449672.jpg

yes we are thinking along those lines. there is not much room under the tabs to hold a thread and this makes it tricky
