ok i was told the 750 pump will fit the fx-1 like the 650sx pump will with alittle work, true?

also i was told people running the 750 pump in there x2 are running the x2 trim with the 750 pump and the stock 800 sxr impeller, true?

i have a good 750 pump laying around and i want to use it for the fx-1 build. also what drive shaft do i use with the 750 pump and sxr impeller?

thanks

The 750 pump bolts in a Kawasaki 650 SX or X2 just liek the 650 original pump does.

However the 750 and 650 intake grates are a little bit different. The 750 grate is longer and has a "T" piece of metal on the back of it with two mounting holes. The 650 only has one single bolt in the back of it. From the FX1 650 conversion pump threads I have seen, the FX1 grate bolts up just like it would to a stock Yamaha pump to a Kawie 650 pump.

Only reason I would use a Kawie 750 pump would be so that I could use a TBM or an R&D afterburner pump stuffer/cone. They will fit in a stock 650 pump but... they require some custom modifying.

Yes, an X2 nozzle system with trim will bolt up to the 750 pump.

On a side note, the 1100 and 900 had different couples on the drive shafts. So if someoen trys to sell you an 1100 dhaft, it may work.. but then again it may not. I say go with what is proven.

Anymore Kawie questions, fire them away.
