FX-1 fx-1 steering issue

i'm looking to upgrade the steering on the fx-1. it's really loose. any ideas?

Im about to install a UMI sealed bearing setup on mine since I have one here, theres a guy on pwctoday who listed an AC handpole with the UMI steering setup for sale today. Have you made sure the nut is tight?

I'm frugal. The nozzle does not know the difference of how it gets their. Tap the last hole and do the 650 pump mod. And yes make sure the nut is tight but not to tight. Don't forget to put some water prof grease on it too.

thanks, yeah last season i had to retighten the nut all the time. feels a bit slopy at times. i just started the 650 pump mod last night

i just put an UMI steering on and decided to put on the blowsion riser bars and i love it best idea ever

Check out the new X-metal set up. It has the adjustable steering cable mounting point. It's the system I plan on putting on my fx-1 with 650 pump.

you can take the steering rod end off, put a piece of a plastic bag over the ball and reinstall for a cheap and dirty fix
